Using the Adesso Trade Assistant (ATA)

ATA is a chat-based method using Natural Language for creating deals in Adesso.

Introduction

Adesso Trade Assistant (ATA) is one of two ways to create deals in Adesso AI.

ATA is especially effective when you have a deal for one customer and have knowledge of the details for the entry. Once you learn the process of chatting your needs to ATA, this will become a quick process for single deals.

Instructions

1. Navigate to app.adessoai.com
2. Click the ATA chat button.
3. Click Create a Deal.
   1. Once you get used to the Natural Language used by ATA, you can bypass many of the deal steps and enter a similar sentence: 
      Create scan item for product “juice 52oz” and fund 2024TF for rate .50 and 250 cases.
4. Enter the deal Description > click Send Message.
5. Enter the Customer > click Send Message.
   1. Your entry can be a name (for example, Target) or a number (for example, 820000011). 
      If you have multiple versions with that customer information (for example, Target), it may take a moment for ATA to find all the data that matches.
6. You will see multiple options appear. Select the correct Customer. 
7. Enter the Start Date > click Send Message.
8. Enter the End Date > click Send Message.
9. ATA will automatically determine the Settle Date, which defaults to one year after the End Date.
   1. Once the Settle Date arrives, deductions are closed and locked from a financial standpoint, so deductions or off-invoices can no longer be adjusted at that point. 
10. You will be given a list of suggested activities. Let's Create a Deal Item.
11. Enter the Product > click Send Message. 
    1. Your entry can be a name (for example, Juice 52oz.) or a number (for example, 9-05-000001).
12. Select the correct Product.
    1. Adesso Best Practice: Select the product at the Promote Group (PG) level to include all of the products that fall underneath that group.
13. Select the Deal Type.
14. Enter the Rate > click Send Message.
15. Enter the Estimated Cases > click Send Message.
16. The Deal Item information is complete.
17. You will be given a list of suggested activities. Select Review the Deal. You will be able to review the Deal Summary and Deal Item information.
18. You will be given a list of suggested activities. Select Commit the Deal.
    1. If you click No, the deal will be automatically sent through the approval process.
    2. If you click Yes, the deal will be staged so you can review it in the promotion planner.
19. Select Yes.
20. You will get a message that the staging deal was saved and validated successfully. 
    You can proceed by selecting one of the following options: 
    • I want to start over with a new deal. 
    • Use the data from the deal I just committed for a new deal. 
    • Something else. 
    If you are done with the ATA, close the window by clicking thechat button.
