Introduction

The Create New Deal process is one of two ways to create deals in Adesso AI.
It is the preferred method for creating deals for Adesso power users (yes, we are
talking about YOU) and users looking to enter multiple deals in one sitting. Every
choice available in your database for deal creation will be at your fingertips.

We'll not only walk you through the process, but we'll help you increase your deal
creation accuracy and efficiency!

Instructions

1. Navigate to https://app.adessoai.com
2. Select Search > click Create New Deal(s).
   1. You can also do this from the Promotions Manager screen.
3. The Create New Deal(s) screen will open.
   
   1. In this screen, you will enter all information associated with the deal.
   2. Complete Step 1: Choose a Timeframe
      1. Select the TimeFrame for your deal from the dropdown list.
4. Complete Step 2: Choose Customer(s)
   1. Select Customer.
   2. Select Contract Group. (This field will appear if you are a food service company.)
   3. For This is a bid, select YES or NO. (This field will appear if you are a food service company.)
   4. Tip! You can select Customer(s) as follows:
      1. Select one customer.
      2. Select multiple customers.
5. Complete Step 3: Choose Promotions
   1. Select Promotion.
6. Complete Step 4: Enter Deal Criteria
   1. Enter Description.
   2. Enter Start Date (Date deal invoices start).
   3. Enter End Date.
   4. Enter Settle Date.
   5. Enter Perf. Start Date (Deal is ACTIVE on the shelf).
   6. Enter Perf. End Date.
   7. Enter Payment.
   8. Update the Original Owner (if necessary).
7. Complete Step 5: Enter Any Common Values for the Deal Items
   1. • Select Deal Item Type (mandatory). Adesso Best Practice: select the Promoted Group
   2. (PG) level so it takes all products within that promoted group.
   3. • Select Product(s) (mandatory).
   4. • Select the Fund.
   5. • Select the Fund Period.
   6. • Click Submit.
   7. Alert! If you find that your screen will not show the ENTIRE window, do the following:
      1. Click CTRL + Mouse Wheel DOWN. You will now see the entire window, albeit in a smaller font.
      2. If the smaller font strains your eyes on other screens, do the following:
         1. Click CTRL + Mouse Wheel UP
8. The Deal Items screen will open. In this screen, you will see the products you selected on the screen. You can now make changes to a variety of fields for each item, for example:
   1. Lump Sum
   2. Rate
   3. Estimated Cases
   4. Retail Price
   5. Product Price
   6. If you change any item information in this window, click Save Changes.
   7. Click Save Deal.
9. Once the deal has been saved, you will notice the Deal Code will be New in this view.
